Sometimes as we get older it becomes difficult to manage with all the paperwork required in running a home, or in undertaking all the domestic chores needed. Or perhaps you would like help with budgeting or accessing community services?
If you are over the age of 60, then Eastbourne Homes has a new service which could benefit you by enabling you the support required to live independantly in your home.
We can help you with:
- Understanding the terms of your tenancy, rights and responsibilities; guidance on remaining safe in your home
- Assistance with understanding rent and council tax payments
- Assistance with making council tax and housing benefit claims
- Basic budgeting, money management and issues around debt
- General correspondence and help opening bank accounts
- Support to access community activities and services
- Assistance with accessing other services e.g. dentist, GP, health service, life skills, day centres and domestic help

We will then arrange a visit to your home to complete an individual support plan, with your input, that forms the assessment of your needs and enables us to tailor the service to suit you.
