Dunlop Haywards and Eastbourne Homes Limited have analysed all contractors' tenders.
This process included:
- Assessing the contractors’ quality submission where the contractors were asked to respond to a series of questions that we asked about how they will deliver the work.
- Visiting sites where contractors are undertaking Decent Homes works for other housing providers to assess the quality of their site set-up, the quality of the workmanship and the confidence of their site management and resident liaison staff.
- Interviewing the contractors and assessing their approach to such matters as diversity, their understanding of a ‘decent home’, how Eastbourne’s residents can contribute to the successful delivery of the Decent Homes works and their experience of installing innovative energy efficient measures.
- Assessing the prices that the contractors submitted for the works.
We have a Asset Management Panel consisting of tenants, leaseholders and our Board Directors.
The Asset Management Panel have been fully involved in the contractor selection process including site visits and interviews.
