Eastbourne Extreme
Local singer Aimee Morton performed at the 2008 Extreme event
Budding local singer Aimee Morton put crowds in a spin recently when she performed as part of the Extreme event on Eastbourne seafront.

The talented teenager is currently a pupil at Causeway School and has high hopes of developing a successful career in the music industry.  Aimee is amongst a number
of young people receiving support through the recently launched Young Person’s Panel.

Eastbourne Homes coordinate the new forum and are delighted that the group is
playing an increasingly important role in the wider town community.

Everol Sampson, Resident Engagement Officer at Eastbourne Homes, said:

“Aimee has real potential and I’m very excited that she performed at such a high profile and successful event as Extreme.  It was a great opportunity for her and I’ve no
doubt that the crowds were really impressed by her.  Building on this success we hope the new panel will bring other young musicians together into a band or possibly help launch more solo careers.”

Anyone who would like to attend the next meeting of the Young Person’s Panel should visit the Hampden Park Community Centre between 6pm and 9pm on Friday August 8th or call Everol on 415356 for more information.
