English in the Community (EITC) who provide English language lessons have received funding which allows them to offer free lessons for refugees.
Lessons range from Beginners to Upper-Intermediate level.
They are also introducing a special programme for beginners who speak no English or only a few words. The courses include all materials and most students can speak and understand a few phrases after just one or two lessons.
If you live, or know anyone who lives in a property managed by Eastbourne Homes, and have English as a second language and would like to improve your English, Eastbourne Homes will help pay for your lessons.
Classes are held at the CommunityWise Community Centre in Ocklynge Road, and at convenient town centre locations.
