The New Derby House Residents Association has been running for nearly 10 years.
The association deals with all matters affecting the residents in the block and run an active social club organising cards or quiz evenings, bingo, BBQs, afternoon teas, coffee mornings and coach excursions amongst other activities - all of which they encourage members of the public to join.
In 2005 the group also raised £583.45 for the St Wilfred's Hospice through coffee mornings.
