Are you an Eastbourne Homes resident who lives in Old Town, has rubbish you need to take to the tip but either no transport or time to take it?.... Well now is your chance!

Your Old Town Area Panel has organised a 'Rubbish Amnesty Day' for the local community to dispose of unwanted furniture, fridges, freezers or rubbish.  There will be dust carts waiting to be filled at the following rubbish amnesty sites on Saturday 30th September.

  • The Salvation Army, Royal Sussex Crescent (7.30-10.00am)
  • The Drive Pub Car Park, Victoria Gardens (7.30-8.30am)
  • Essex Court/Durham Court Car Park, Rockhurst Drive (8.30-9.30am)

Please do not bring along paints, chemicals or garden waste as we cannot dispose of these for you.  We also ask that you do not simply dump rubbish at these locations.

If you need assistance getting your rubbish along to one of the amnesty sites please contact Eastbourne Homes Resident Engagement Officer, Everol Powell on (01323) 415976 before Wednesday 27th September.
