Extraordinary General Meeting
Called for by the Chairman for Friday 4th May
First some good news. Along with the other three panels we are to be allocated £20,000 for environmental projects of our choosing. In addition, Steve Chrismas has been allocated £3,000 for administering the Langney Area Panel.
With the increase in her workload Nikki has decided it would be advisable for her to concentrate on Office Management of our Resource Centre and Co-ordinating Projects for the Panel. Therefore Nikki is resigning from her post as Vice-Chair. The Panel would like to thank Nikki for her efforts in the Vice Chair position since the Panels inauguration.
Lin Hodson has informed the Panel that due to a change in circumstances she will not be able to devote the time she would have liked to the over 60's club and wishes to decline the position although she will continue to support and remain on the Committee.
Jean German has expressed a willingness to take up the position of Vie-Chair subject to LAP Committee approval. The Panel would like to thank Jean for her efforts as secretary since our inauguration.
Debbie Oldfield has declared an interest in taking on the position of Secretary subject to the Committee's approval.
Subject to LAP Committee approval the Chair would like James Bacon to take Debbie Oldfield's place on the ASB Sub-Committee along with Jenny Fears (Spokesperson) and Lin Hodson.
The Chair, praises all the Committee who he says are doing a great job bringing value to our community and implementing worthwhile projects.
