With a host of freebies on offer and a colourful mix of Caribbean food laid on, the Hampden Park & Willingdon Trees Area Panel opened their doors to residents on May 12.
The event was held at the Hampden Park Community Centre and residents who attended had the opportunity to sign up for free Tai Chi, Indian head & foot massage and Yoga sessions which have formed part of the health and well being week during June.
Joining Area Panel representatives to talk to Open Day visitors could talk to staff from Eastbourne Homes, Community Police Officers, the St John’s Ambulance Service and the Youth Development Service.
There was also a live performance by the group' Jawbreaker. The event was well attended with over 80 people dropping in and it was good to see so many residents involved!
